MULTI-AIR BLANKET
Air & Vapor Barrier
A SEAMLESS, HIGH PERFORMANCE AIR BARRIER SOLUTION
MULTI-AIR BLANKET is a water based and environmentally friendly seamless air and vapor barrier membrane. The BLANKET as a fluid applied air and vapor barrier provides an effective and economical means of protecting the structure long-term. It can be applied over gypsum and cement-based sheathings, OSB, plywood, CMU, and concrete.

Q: Can you use a sprayer to apply Mulasticoat?
A: Yes, the Mulasticoat can be sprayed using an airless sprayer.
Q: Is The Air Barrier System green friendly?
A: Yes, the VOC (volatile organic compounds) content in the products are less than 5 grams/liter. All of the products used are water-based as well. Unlike many competitors that claim to be “water-based” but also contain petroleum byproducts, Mulasticoat is made from 100% water born acrylics and contains ZERO ASPHALT EMULSION.
Q: Is the Air Barrier System expensive?
A: The Premium Slatex System is cost effective when comparing it to other Vapor/Air Barrier Systems. This system typically also outperforms traditional house wrap due to its lack of seals and penetration into the substrate.
Q: How do you bridge expansion joints and wall/floor 90º joints?
A: We recommend embedding a material called Polyester Stitch Bond Fabric into the first coat of Mulasticoat to act as a reinforcement material for high movement areas. It is an inexpensive way to ensure security and rigidity in areas that may be subject to extreme movement over time.
